Hostel 42 - Skopje

The staff at this hostel were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing great information about the city. the rooms were spacious and clean, with good WiFi. the hostel also helped us retrieve items we had left behind. a fantastic place to relax and explore the city.

We got great value for our money with a spacious and clean room, equipped with a nice view. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, close to all the main attractions and transportation. The staff, especially Aleksandra, was friendly and helpful, making our experience more fun. Love you Aleksandra!

The breakfast could be improved with more variety.

Very hospitable staff. Super location in strict center of city, close to coffee shops and restaurants on boem street. Cozy garden for hanging out and chatting with owner and guests. Seemed like home.

I recently stayed at Hostel 42 in a private room for 3 nights. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of everything. The room was clean and comfortable, and I never had to wait for the shared bathroom. The shower was one of the cleanest I've seen in a budget accommodation. The owners were loving and hardworking, taking great care of both the guests and the property. Highly recommended for budget travelers.

the staff made me feel welcome. They provided me with a map and gave me great recommendations on places to visit in the city. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The location of the hostel was also perfect, with many cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. I also appreciated that they allowed me to store my luggage after check-out so I could continue exploring the city. I had a wonderful experience at Hostel 42 and would definitely choose to stay there again.

Outstanding location on a safe, quiet street near parks, the stadium, and good restaurants. Easy 10 minute walk from Macedonia Square and the Old Bazaar. the staff, particularly Goran and his team, are incredible. They go above and beyond to assist guests, providing valuable advice on local tourist spots and even accompanying us to a restaurant to ensure we experience authentic local cuisine. the warmth and willingness to help from both the staff and the owner create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. the hotel offers airport transfer, making arrival and check-in hassle-free. the location is convenient and enhances the overall enjoyment of exploring Skopje. Great price-quality ratio.

Kitchen missing in additional building.

The hostel's location is perfect, just a short walk from the city center. We loved that it was so close to the heart of the city and all the attractions. there is a local restaurant nearby where we had the chance to try some delicious Macedonian specialties. the room we stayed in was basic but clean, with a comfortable mattress and cozy atmosphere. the staff was super nice and helpful, providing us with a warm welcome and even offering transfer services to the airport.

The hostel had a small issue with the taxi they ordered for us, causing us some inconvenience. we understood that it wasn't their fault and it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience we had at the hostel.
